Exterior. The leather is wrinkled and scuffed. Also, there are scratches. The corners are scuffed. The hardware is scuffed and scratched. One of the snaps on the inside flap has been replaced and is not original to the bag. The turn-lock closure is broken (when you turn it there is a spring type sound). The bag was repainted.
